MBBS degree holders in Assam can now benefit from the ONGC Assam job openings 2011. ONGC Assam in collaboration with the Assam Arakan Basin (Jorhat) will be recruiting Contract doctors for two posts of Medical Officers in the recent ONGC Assam Doctor Recruitment 2011. A Walk-in-interview has been set up by the authorities of ONGC Assam which is to be held in the month of July. The selection will be based strictly on the performance during the interview and the recruitment will be based on a contract.

ONGC Assam Medical Officers Recruitment Job Details

To apply for the job, you need to fulfill certain ONGC Assam Medical Officer Recruitment 2011 eligibility criteria. The most important qualification is that, in order to be employed as a Medical Offier at ONGC Assam, you need to be qualified as an MBBS having the necessary registration at State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India. The other post which is that of a Medical Officer (OH) also demands the requirement of a three-month certificate course viz. AFIH (Associate Fellowship in Industrial Health) or DIH (Diploma in Industrial health) in addition to the requirements for the previous mentioned post. An equivalent qualification from Central Labour Institute (CLI) or national Institute of Occupational Health (NIOH) will also be entertained in the later mentioned post at the time of the interview. The job position is on a contractual basis and as advertised by ONGC Assam, the period for the contract will be upto 30.06.2010.

Selection process, eligibility criteria and how to apply for ONGC Assam Medical Officers Recruitment Job

The doctors selected via the interview will be required to serve as Medical Officers at ONGC Field Installation/Rigs/Drill-Sites at Jorhat or Golahat or any other district in Assam where ONGC has been operating. They will also be required to serve their duties at the various dispensaries of ONGC situated at Jorhat or Golahat on 14 days on/off duty pattern. The salary for the mentioned job will be fixed. Approximately, the ONGC Assam Medical Officer Job 2011pay scale will be Rs. 35,000 per month for both the job positions.

The applicants for the above mentioned posts will be selected on the basis of a ONGC Assam Medical Officer interview 2011, walk-in by variety to be held at the 2nd Floor of Dhansiri Bhavan Of ONGC, Cinnamara Complex, Jorhat. The aspirants will have to be present at Room No. 329 in the Office of Gm (HR). An application format typed on an A4 sheet with a passport size photograph affixed on the right corner of the application is to be submitted during the time of the interview. The application should have the following information:(a) Post applied for (b)Name (c) Father's Name (d)Date of Birth (e) Full Postal Address and Telephone Number ( Landline and Mobile) (f) Whether SC/ST/OBC (g) Qualification covering Institution, year of passing and percentage of marks obtained (h) Registration Number (i) Experience Details and (j) Signature.

The ONGC Assam Medical Officers recruitment interview date is 18th of July,2011 and the time is from 8:30 am to 12 pm. The applicants must be present at the mentioned venue on time and bring with them all the relevant documents in original along with 1 set of photocopies attested by a Gazetted Officer.
