This Gupta Kashi is located at the junction of Bridhaganga river which is commonly known as Burigonga and Brahmaputra river. There are many different gods are also there on the cluster of this Biswanath Ghat. There are also many stone posts and also beams are found there. So it is believed that once upon there was a stone temple was there. This temple remains under water in the rainy days. So the devotees got only one chance in the winter worship the god. So there also construct many temporary sheds for the tourists coming from various states and countries. On the 3rd day of the festival the Assamese Bihu festival is also celebrated there which is one of the famous festival of Assam. There is also a island is present nearer this Biswanath Ghat which is known as island of Umatumuni. This island is also one of the famous place of Assam. So there is no problem for staying in Biswanath Ghat of Assam.
