The Danik Janambhumi, one of the oldest publication houses of Assam, has been communicating news and views to the people of the state since 1947.

The Dainik Janambhumi was launched from Jorhat in 1972.This is the most widely read Assamese daily newspaper in Upper Assam.It has total three nos of editions-Jorhat,Guwahati and Tinisukia.
Today's busy life, everyone tries to save their time so that they can give more time to their duties. That's why people prefer to get more information in shorter period and in the easy way.So, today we are getting the internet editions of the newspapers, it gives us information faster like other electronic media do,also people will be able to read these editions in every corner of the world.
