Achievements aAnd wards of Assamese writer Anuradha Sharma Pujari

Assamese writer Anurdha Sharma Pujari has started her literary career as a journalist in Assamese daily Amar Asom which was then edited by notedAssamese journalist writer and president of Assam Sahitya sabha Homen Borgohain.

After that she joined Sadin Group as Editor of the most popular Assamese weekly news paper Sadin. And Sadin is still the most popular Assamese weekly in Assamese language. Now she also edits Satsori, an Assamese magazine.

Hridoy Ek Bigyapan is Anuradha's first popular Assaemnse novel. It is translated as The Heart's a Showbiz by Dr Abha Bhattacharya and published by Spectrum publication of new delhi. This novel is also translated into Bengali.

Other novels of Anurdha Baideo are kanchan, Chahebpurar Borokhun, Ejon Iswarar Sandhanat, Boragi nadir Ghat, Naharar Niribili Cha ec.

For Anuradha's novel Chahebpurar Borokhun she was conferred the award of Kumar Kishore Memorial trust of Assam Sahitya sabha in 2003

Naharar Niribili cha is based on her stay as a student of Sociology deptt and a hostel boarder in Dibrugarh university of Assam and is one of the most popular novel of Anuradha baideo.

Anurdha Sharma Pujari's Short Story colections:

Basantar Gaan consists of several other stories of Anuradha published in Assamese magazines and newspapers along with the title story Basantar Gaan and published in 1999.

Ejon Asamajik Kabir Biography is another collection of short stories published in 2001 and boast of having short stories that were completely new to Assamese literature till then in the matter of Concept and subject matter.

Another short story collection is 'Katherinar hoite eta Nirjan dupariya'.

Anurdha Sharma Pujari's Autobiographical writings are Kalikotar Chithi(letters from Kolkata) which she has written from Kolkata as her short stint as a teacher in Ctech under Academy of Fine Arts.

Other autobiographical works are 'Diary' and 'Autograph'. anurdha's travelogue " American Charaikhanat Sambaadbasanta aru bondhu" is a thought-provoking one on the present day consumerism in Journalism.
