Prantik the leading Assamese fortnightly, is one of the best magazine of it's kind .In any matter related to Assam and Assamese people Prankik has been the guiding force till date .


 

Prantik is the best magazine published in Assam . This is a fortnightly magazine published from Guwahati .It has began it's colourful journey in 1981 , and till today it has been published regularly without a single incidence of failure .

The present editor of this magazine is Mr Pradip Baruah and with the able assistent of Ismail Hussain this magazine has bringing out different as well as every topic under the sun and in simple but elegantly expressive language .

Late Dr. Bhabendranath Saikia was the chief Executive editor of the magazine and he had influenced while giving the magazine a unique style and regularity .

It's columns like Seshpristha, Doinandin , Sampadakia(editorial) , Galpa(story) , Dharabahik Upanyas (serial novel), Krirangan ,prakriti, Bhraman , and evry other columns are equally loved by the people of Assam .And they have immensely influenced in cvollective decision making of the Assamese community living accross Assam and the world .
