Assamese actress Divya Desai (popularly known as Rashami Desai) is not only acted in Assamese movies but also in Hindi, Bangla, Manipuri and Bhojpuri Movies. She is best known for her tremendous role of Tapasya Thakur (Tappu) in a popular daily soap Uttaran in the popular channel named Colors Television.

Early life:

Actress Rashami Desai (Divya Desai) was born in Nagaon, Assam to a Gujarati family during 1986, 4th August. She did her schooling in Ulubari High School, Guwahati. Since her early ages, she was much interested to be introduced into the glamour world, and thus she got her television debut with Zee Tv in a soap opera named 'Ravan' in an early age. Divay Desai is also a trained Bharatnatyam and Kathak.

Professional career:

Divya Desai have acted in many daily soap operas and television reality shows. She also tried her comic sense in the television comedy reality show 'Comedy Circus' along with her different co-actors, like comedian Rajiv Thakur and Saloni. She also had hosted the show for a season.
