Exam Details - Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Assam


Combined Competitive Examination is the examination conducted by the Assam Public Service Commission for recruitment in various posts to the Civil Services in the state. There are two stages of written examination of Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) i.e. Preliminary Examination (Prelims) & the Mains Examination.

In the Preliminary Examination all the questions of the examination are of multiple choice objective types and in the Mains Examination the questions of the Examination will be conventional essay type.

Examination pattern of Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) for APSC Assam



Combined Competitive Examination is the examination conducted by the Govt. of Assam for recruitment in various posts to the Civil Services in Assam. There are two stages of written examination i.e. The Preliminary Examination (Prelims) and Main Examination. The prelims exam consist of two papers--

Paper I - General Studies for 200 marks and
Paper-II- One optional subject to be selected from the list of optional subjects for 200 marks.

The Mains Examination consist of the following papers--
Paper-I : General English for 300 marks.
Paper-II: General Studies for 300marks.
Paper-III: (a & b)Any two optional subjects to be selected from the list of optional subject (two papers each)for 200 marks each.
Paper-IV : (a & b)Any two optional subjects to be selected from the list of optional subject (two papers each)for 200 marks each.
