Nagaon Inter club Table Tennis League,2009-2010

Inter Club Table Tennis League,2009-2010 held at Indoor Stadium of Nurul Amin Stadium in Nagaon,Assam,India organised by Nowgong Sports Association from 26th February to 28th February 2010.Ashim Kumar Bhowal,sectional secretary of Nowgong Sports Association formally inaugurated the programme on 26th February 2010.Nine teams participated in the league.The teams are Prabah Gosthi, Radial club,Sanjiban Samaj,Star Sporting club, Amlan Gosthi, Uday Sangha,Nagaon Rajasthani Sangha, Trinayan Gosthi and Youth club.
In the final match Pranab Gosthi defeated Trinayan Gosthi by 2-1 and this lead Prabah Gosthi to win eight times contionously. On the other hand, in open events Ishanpal Singh of Star Sporting Club beat Tonmoy Sarmah of Star Sporting club by 2-1 in the Junior boys single and in Jr. Girls’, Nikita Sarmah(Amlan Gosthi) beat Jenifer Rahman (Amlan Gosthi). In Sr Boys’ single Hrishikesh Bora (Trinayan Gosthi) beat Partha Pratim Sarma (Trinayan Gosthi) by 2-1. In the Sr. Girls’ event Jaspreet Kour of Radial Club beat Jharna Sharma of Prabah Gosthi by 2-0.The best promising player for this year was Prag Ranjan Das of Star Sporting club.The prize distribution ceremony held on 28th February in which Kanak Kachari,CEO Nagaon graced as a chief guest . The prizes were distributed by Kanak Kachari, Tapan Kr.Das, Aminul Islam Bakshi and Ashim Bhowal respectively.
