It is a great step that the organization SRUTI trying to rescue the endemic culture of Muga. Muga is not only a source of livelihood for a group of Assamese people but also a traditional culture and custom of Assam. Though Muga culture is widely practiced in Assam since long time but due to several climatic and technical problems still it is underdeveloped and not commercialized. The Muga silk has great demand in national and international market.
As an Assamese it is our moral duty to save and work for this prestigious culture for its improvements with a strategic way.

Thanks SRUTI for this novel step.
