Rainbow North East,[RAINE] Shivasagar Assam has been organizing a singing competition covering the entire North East region named as Voice of India North East contest. The sole aim of the contest is to create a friendly atmosphere in the North East region through songs and music. With a view to make the event a great success the executive committee of the RAINE, (a Non Governmental Organization of Assam) requested the higher authority of Oil & Natural Gas Corporation [ONGCL] to sponsor the mega function for the sake of the said purpose and to encourage the new talents of the North East India. Lastly the authority of ONGCL has agreed to sponsor the programme as desired by RANE. Now the name of the contest has been changed for the sponsorship of ONGCL. Hench forth the contest will be known as ONGCL`s Voice of India North East Contest-2011.
Out of eight round contest first four rounds has already been executed and the last four rounds will be continued starting from semifinal round w,e,f 26th May2011. The venue of the contest is expected to be at Shivasagar Boarding field and Natya Mandir. The NE TV Guwahati will air the contest from semi final to mega final round for which an official contract has been signed with NE TV Guwahati. RAINE is seeking co-sponsorship for this great event. Opportunity to display promotional materials making exhibition tent at the ONGCL`S Voice of India North East Contest`s premises from semi final to mega final round for ten days, where the company’s products can be displayed for broad publicity.
