About Jyoti Bharati Theater of Tezpur, Assam
Jyoti Bharati Theater is located at Poki which is the home of the great Dramatist Rupkunwar Jyotiprasad Agarwala. After him The Government took the home of Rupkunwar Jyotiprasad Agarwala in the year of 1977 and rebuilt it as Jyoti Bharati Theater. It was built by the Directorate of Cultural Affairs of Assam. Now this Theater is becoming the cultural center of Assam.
