A Brief View on Assam Institute of Management:
Assam Institute of Management or better known as AIM Guwahati was established in the year 1988. It is promoted by the Government of Assam with the aim of promoting professional management in the Northeast region. It offers IIM grade in "Post Graduate Diploma In Business Management(PGDBM)" course and is the only institute which offers this course in the whole of the Northeastern region.
AIM Guwahati is located at a distance of about 8kms from the Guwahati Railway Station and 30kms from the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport at Borjhar.
The criteria for seeking admission in AIM Guwahati is:
Graduates in any discipline(except fine arts) with a minimum of 50% marks(45% in case of SC/ST).
Apart from this, the Final Year Graduate students can also apply for provisional admission.
The Director of AIM Guwahati is Shantikam Hazarika, BE(BITS), PGDM(IIM A).
